FNB North Introduces Financial Literacy Workshops for Teens
Published on February 10, 2025
First National Bank North is proud to announce a new initiative designed to equip teens with essential money management skills. Beginning in March 2025, we will offer a series of free financial literacy workshops at local high schools and community centers across the Walker area.
The program, titled "Money Matters: Building a Brighter Future," covers topics such as budgeting basics, saving strategies, understanding credit, and planning for college expenses. Each session combines interactive lessons, real-world scenarios, and take-home resources to help students make informed financial decisions early in life.
Taught by certified financial educators
Sessions include digital tools and parent guides
We believe that financial education is a critical part of long-term success, and these workshops are just one way FNB North supports the growth and development of our youth. For more information or to register your teen, visit our website or contact our community outreach team directly.
"This is about more than just numbers — it’s about giving young people the confidence to manage their finances wisely," said Sarah Johnson, Community Relations Manager at FNB North. "We’re excited to partner with schools and families to bring this valuable resource to our community."
Stay tuned for upcoming dates and locations! Participation is open to all interested students, and light refreshments will be provided at each event.
