Holiday Giving Campaign Brings Joy to Local Families
Published on December 15, 2024
During the 2024 holiday season, First National Bank North once again launched its annual Holiday Giving Campaign, collecting donations of both money and toys to support families in need throughout the Walker community. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, customers, and partners, we raised over $15,000 and collected hundreds of gifts for children under the age of 12.
All proceeds were distributed through local organizations including the Walker Food Shelf, Salvation Army, and Boys & Girls Club of Walker MN. In addition to monetary donations, many customers dropped off unwrapped presents at our main branch, which were sorted and delivered before Christmas Eve.

"It's heartwarming to see how our community comes together during the holidays," said Rachel Lee, Marketing Director at FNB North. "Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference in someone’s life, and we’re proud to play a small part in spreading joy and hope this season."
This marks the fifth consecutive year that FNB North has hosted a holiday donation drive, and we plan to expand the campaign even further in the coming years. We also partnered with several local businesses who matched employee contributions and sponsored gift cards for single parents and senior citizens.
Thank you to everyone who participated — your kindness truly made the season brighter for so many. We look forward to doing it all again next year!
